Wilma (Bare) Abel

Wilma Abel, 84, of Bicknell, passed away January 07, 2021 at her home in Bicknell.  Wilma was born Saturday, September 19, 1936, in Linton, Indiana, the Daughter of Kenneth and Bernita (Chestnut) Bare.  She later married Charles Ausman who was the love of her life. She worked as a waitress and cook for Dodies. Wilma loved spending time with her family and especially her sisters.  She also enjoyed going to yard sales.    
She is survived by five children, Charles Ausman (Lori) of Bicknell, IN, Scott Ausman of Bicknell, IN, Nancy Ausman of Bicknell, IN, Donald Phegley (Janet Dorener) of Bicknell, and Shauna Knepp (Tubby); several  grandchildren; several great grandchildren and two siblings, Jack Bare of Bicknell, IN and Nancy Padgett of Westphalia, IN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, Wanda Burres, Brenda Volling, Joe Bare, and Buddy Bare.
A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, 317 Washington Street, Bicknell, IN 47512 with Seth Alexander officiating. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel handled the arrangements.
