William J. Trask “Willie” age 52, of Washington, Indiana, formerly of San Francisco, California, passed away on August 10, 2023. Born on November 29, 1970, to Martin Trask and Christine Steiner, he was beloved father to Jorden “C.J.” Trask and Aaron Trask.
Those left to mourn the loss of Willie are; his parents, Christine (Steve) Steiner and Martin Task; children, Jorden “C.J.” Trask and Aaron Trask; brothers, Michael (Kaeli) Trask, Anthony (Jessica) Trask and Brian Trask. He was a warm and generous uncle to Kole, Garret, Logan, Camden, Reyce, Brycen, and Draxtyn Trask. Willie was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and extended family.
After graduating from Middleton High School in California, Willie always maintained a deep interest in the world. He was an ardent Star Wars fan and held a fascination for the paranormal series and haunting’s and also enjoyed books about hauntings. An avid reader, his family held a special place in his heart and their moments shared will remain unforgettable.
Willie will be remembered as a gentle, loving soul who spread warmth and joyous moments to all. His family and friends hold him dear in their hearts and memories.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral home in Washington, Indiana from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with service immediately following also at the funeral home with Sister Yvonne Evans officiating. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Montgomery, Indiana.
