Tommy Flickinger Obituary

Tommy Lee Flickinger 72, of Edwardsport went to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Tommy was born in VanWert, OH to the late Esther Parsons Merle Flickinger and Claude Douglas Flickinger on September 25, 1951. On September 21, 1972 Tommy married Jeanine Bannatyne Flickinger in Concord, CA.

Tommy was a retired school bus driver, mechanic, and also worked industrial maintenance. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cars, baseball, and gardening. He also enjoyed fostering 4 girls last year. 

Those left to mourn the loss of Tommy are; his loving wife, Jeanine Flickinger; children, Tommy L. Flickinger Jr. (Jill) of Vincennes, Jason L. Flickinger of Vincennes, Jonathan H. Flickinger (Amanda) of Vincennes, Teresa L. Flickinger (John Rhimer) of Virginia Beach; siblings, Claudia Sue DeCoursey Hendricks (Bob) of Indianapolis, William Ray Flickinger of Bicknell, Jean Ann Flickinger of Bicknell, Sheary Kay Boldrey (Dave) of Vincennes, Earnest Charles Flickinger of Bicknell; grandchildren, Tara Robbins (Adam) of Edwardsport, Makayla Flickinger of Evansville, Austin Flickinger of Bicknell, Tyson Flickinger of Bicknell, Cameron Flickinger of Vincennes, Christian Flickinger; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and adopted children and grandchildren over the years. 

He was preceded in death by; brothers, Charles “Bud” Douglas Flickinger Jr, Jon Glenn Flickinger, Robert Allen Flickinger; and two infant sisters, Rose Ann and Sharon Flickinger.

There will be visitation held on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at The Bicknell Nazarene Church, with a service followed on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at The Bicknell Nazarene Church with Pastors John Moreland, Glenn Archer and Jon McKinnon officiating, 1125 Durbin St. Bicknell, IN 47512. Burial will follow in Bicknell Memorial Cemetery with military funeral honors. The family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com.
