Thomas Allen Daugherity

Thomas Allen “Tom” Daugherity, 74 passed away Thursday morning, December 18, 2025. 

He was born in Vincennes, Indiana on June 28, 1951 to the late George R.C. Daugherity and Rita Yochum Daugherity.

On December 22, 1973 Tom married the love of his life Janet  Kay Coleman. Tom was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School. He was an active service Vincennes township fireman for 32 years. He was awarded a 50 years of service award from the fire department at the Indiana State House.

Tom is survived by; wife, Janet  Kay Daugherity of Vincennes; daughter, Brooke Leighann Williams (Kyle) of Edgewater, FL, and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Daugherity of Petersburg; grandchildren, Jared Williams, Jaxon Williams, Dylan Daugherity and Christian Daugherity; sister, Karen Ann Hooper of Evansville; nieces, Sara Wolfe and Lisa Holder; two great nephews, and one great niece.

Tom was preceded in death by; his parents, George and Rita Daugherity; a son, Christopher Daugherity; father-in-law, Ralph Coleman, and mother-in-law, Lillian Reeves Coleman.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel with the Firefighter’s Bell Service immediately following also at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
