Terry Cox

 Terry Lee Cox 70 of Washington, IN passed away on September 30, 2023, at 1:52AM. Born to the late Kenneth and Essie (Blake) Cox on June 7, 1953, Terry married the love of his life, Anna Louise Cox on April 1, 1981. She proceeded him in death on May 20, 2007. A grandson, Seth Ryan Coy, who was a high part of Terry’s life also proceeded him in death on July 29, 2009.
He is survived by his children; John (Melissa) Coy, James Coy, and Linda Trayweek all of Washington, Bobby (Leloa) Roach of Clarkville IN and Dustin Cox also of Washington; sister’s Linda Sterling and Sharron Cox; brothers Mike Cox and Jerry Cox; and grandchildren Matthew Coy, Jeffrey Coy, Jameson Coy, Melinda Trayweek, Jacob, Hallie, Kareya, LeAnna,Emmanuel Roach, and Kambrie Cox.
Terry was involved in the construction of houses. He enjoyed collecting knives and also had a skill at throwing knives. Terry played basketball when he was younger and was an avid IU and Celtics basketball fan. He loved his grandkids and was a devoted family man.
There will be a funeral service held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 1:00pm at Fredrick and Son- Gill Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 am until time of Service. Burial will follow at Sugarland Memory Gardens. Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with Terry’s arrangements.
