Teresa Rae (Miley) Richards

Teresa “Terri” Rae Richards, 52 of Vincennes, passed away at 8:25 P.M. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Oak Village Nursing Home in Oaktown.

Terri was born October 15, 1967 at the Ft. Hood Army Base in Texas to Claude “JR” and Rita (Owens) Miley.

Terri was formerly an employee of Oak Village Nursing Home where she devoted her time and energy to the residents and staff. She lived many years in Oaktown and tirelessly volunteered in many community events. She graduated South Knox High School in 1985 and was a member of Oaktown Christian Church; where she served in different capacities in her spare time. Terri loved most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and taking travel adventures with her significant other, Harold Stewart of Sandborn, and he survives. 

Also surviving are; her mother, Rita Miley of Vincennes; a son, Travis Richards (Kayla) of Vincennes; daughters, Jessica Doades (Corbin) of Vincennes, Nicole Cockerham (Shaun Volle) of Carlisle, Brittany Buss (Tim) of Vincennes; sisters, Tammi Ramsey (Cavin) of Vincennes, and Trina Cullen (Ralph) of Granbury, TX; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and numerous aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews. 

Proceeding her in death was; her father, Claude Miley, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Rhonda Owens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Oaktown Christian Church, 103 School St. 47561. Arrangements were entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-UttFuneral Home, Oaktown Chapel. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Please make online confluences to www.fredrickandson.com
