Steven Milton Telligman

Steven Milton Telligman, 71, of Freelandville, Indiana went to his heavenly home on May 23, 2023, in Newburgh, Indiana.

He was born in Vincennes to Milton and Joyce “Trowbridge” Telligman on April 17,1952.

On August 19, 1972 he married the love of his life, his bride, Deborah “Odell” Telligman in Freelandville, Indiana.

Steve was a 1970 graduate of North Knox High School and after was the owner/operator of Telligman Auto Body, and then finished his career as mechanic/farmhand for Brocksmith Farms. He enjoyed NASCAR, tractor pulls, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Steven was a devoted member of Bethel Church.

Those left to mourn the loss of Steve include his loving wife, Deborah Telligman; mother, Joyce Telligman; children, Brett (Anna) Telligman of Freelandville, Shawn Telligman of Freelandville, Kyle (Jenni) Telligman of Freelandville, and Evan (Ginger) Telligman of Freelandville; Siblings, Mike (Janet) Telligman of Vincennes, IN, Mark (Diane) Telligman of Oaktown, IN, and Brenda Nettles of Freelandville; Grandchildren, Elsa Telligman, Abram Telligman, Adyn Telligman, Emma Telligman, Andrew Telligman, Dathan Kelch, and Kiara Telligman.

He is preceded in death by; his father, Milton Telligman and his brother-in-law Charlie Nettles.

A Celebration of Steve’s life will be held on May 27, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 11807 N. State Road 159 Freelandville, Indiana 47535. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday May 28, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with service immediately following at 2:00 pm all at  Bethel Church.
