Stephanie Lynn (Smith) Bates 47, of Plainville In, passed away September 07, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Stephanie was born June 25, 1975, in Vincennes In, the Daughter of Robert Norman and Judith A. (Horst) Smith. Stephanie enjoyed listening to music and being around people, she was also a member of the Nazarene Church, and the Bicknell French Club.
Stephanie is survived by her mother Judith Smith. her daughter Joslynn (Jeremy) East of Fort Branch In, grandson Shane East, a brother Jeff (Nancy) Sanders of Edwardsport In, a sister Sue Alexander of Plainville In and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Norman Smith, brother in law Daniel Alexander, grandparents Edgar and Marjorie Horst and 1 Uncle Larry Horst. Fredrick & Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Bicknell Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
