Sonia D. (O’Dell) Pickel, 77 of Bicknell, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 peacefully while at her home.

Sonia was born in Daviess County on September 2, 1943 to the late Rex Wilgus and Helen (Kirby) Wilgus.

Sonia retired from Good Samaritan Hospital as a housekeeper, she enjoyed cooking, wearing hats, and most of all caring for others. She attended Edwardsport Baptist Church.

Sonia is survived by; children, James C. O’Dell of Farmersburg,IN, Dr. Donald O’Dell (Carol) of Clarksville, TN, John O’Dell (Tameria) of Indianapolis, IN, and Kevin D. O’Dell (Jennifer) of Sandborn; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; 2 spouses, James O’Dell, and Curtis Pickel; a son, Robert G. O’Dell; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.

Burial will in Bicknell Memorial Gardens Saturday June 19, 2021 at 11 A.M. with pastor John Trotter officiating. You may leave on online condolence at www.fredrickandson.com.
