Ruth L (Jording) Richter

Ruth L. Richter, 98 of Carlisle, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

Ruth was born on May 26, 1923 in Decker, IN to the late Lucy “Rehwald” Jording and Carl Jording. 

Ruth was a devoted wife mother and homemaker; who loved to quilt, and paint china. She was a member of Bethel Women’s Guild and Bethel Church.

She is survived by; her children, Carla Woods (Ed), of Milford, OH, Beth Craig of Georgetown, KY, and Mark Richter (Patsy) of Edwardsport, IN; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Arlema Ehlerding of Decatur, IN.

She was preceded by; her parents; husband, Reinhart Richter; a daughter, Joyce Richter; and a son, John Richter.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Bethel Church from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with a service immediately following at 2:00 P.M. also at the church, officiated by Rev. Bryan Taylor. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Family and friends may leave online condolences at www.fredrickandson.com.
