Robert Eakins Obituary

Robert Allen Eakins 55, passed away on May 16, 2020.

He was born in Vincennes, IN on January 16, 1965 to the late William Ross Eakins and Kathryn Maxine (Hamilton) Eakins.

Robert worked in maintenance and custodial arts at Vincennes University. He was an avid Colts fan, enjoyed Nascar (Jeff Gordon), and liked to play euchre.

Robert is survived by; his daughters, Kristin Hernandez of Vincennes, Haley Eakins of Vincennes, and Cassandra Eakins of Texas; step-mother, Mary Eakins; siblings, Gene (Clarence) Angie Hamilton of Vincennes, Susan Caldwell of Bicknell, Kenneth Caldwell of CA, and Angela Hill (Dewayne) of Vincennes, Jack Chambers of Newburgh and Jeremy Chambers of Vincennes; and two grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel. You may leave an online condolence at www.fredrickandson.com.
