Richard Leon Messeman

Richard Leon Messeman, 87 of Vincennes, went to his heavenly home on Monday, March 27, 2023.
Richard was born on June 2, 1935 in Bicknell, IN to the late Catherine Panel and Pete Messeman.
Richard served his country in the United States Air Force from which he retired after twenty-one years of service and two tours in Vietnam. He also served as a police officer for thirty-one years. Richard was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Those left to mourn the loss of Richard are; loving wife, Debra Kay Messeman which he married October 6, 1975; children, Jason Messeman (Kara) of Henderson, KY and Krista Houser of Vincennes; grandchildren, Cameron Messeman, Jayda Messeman, Alayna Snyder, Abbigail Houser, and Haidyn Houser; great granddaughter, Harmonie Hensley; and a sister, Catherine Reeves of Newburgh.
He was preceded in death by; mother, Catherine Panel; father, Pete Messeman; and a sister, Sandy White.
There will be a service on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Bicknell Memorial Gardens. The family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com.
