Obituary

Raymond Braun 90, of Bicknell went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
He was born on January 29, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Hannah Hagstron Braun and Alfred Braun.
Raymond was employed by Prestolite Battery and then by Crane as a security guard. He was a nascar fan, loved the Chicago Cubs, was an avid baseball fan, and enjoyed the Chicago Bears.
Those left to mourn the loss of Raymond are; significant other, Anna Robinson; and step-daughter, Lora Wheatley (Jim) of Bicknell; and a sister, Jan Opps (John) of Colorado; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by; his parents, Hannah and Alfred Braun; two children, Scott Braun and Raylena Braun; siblings, Carolyne Pankau of Riverside, CA and Don Braun of Woodstock, Ill.
There will be a graveside service with Rev Seth Alexander officiating at the Bicknell Memorial Cemetery on Monday, September 18, 2023 at noon. The family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com. The staff at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with Mr. Braun’s arrangements.
