Randall J. Green, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, left this world to be with the Lord on July 23, 2024, at the age of 68. Born in Vincennes, IN, on July 14, 1956, Randall spent his life enveloped by the community he loved, eventually passing away in Henderson, KY.
Randall was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the United States Army as a military police officer. Following his military service, he channeled his hardworking ethic into a successful career as the owner of Green’s Heating and Cooling Appliance. On May 22, 1982, he married the love of his life, Barbara (Helderman) Green, in their shared hometown of Vincennes, IN. Together they forged a life filled with love and dedication, both to each other and to their family.
Randall was a man of many interests, deeply adventurous, and an avid outdoorsman. Whether it was hunting, shooting, or the peaceful pastime of mushroom hunting, he revered the time spent in nature. In his later years, he found a renewed faith in the Lord, which brought him immense comfort and joy. His friendly and loving spirit drew a wide circle of friends, including fellow members of the Wabash Valley Sportsman’s Club and the NRA.
Surviving Randall are his cherished wife, Barbara Green; his children, Kristi Basham (Dan), Eric Green (Shannon), Brandon Green, and Hallie Green; his treasured grandchildren, Alleina Basham, Aaron Basham, Connor Green and Katie Green; and his brothers Milo Green, Gene Green (Catherine), and Skip Green (Jessie). Preceding him in death were his parents, Raymond and Ella Mae (Like) Green.
With a heart as expansive as the outdoors he so loved, Randall will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He left behind a legacy of unwavering loyalty, joyfulness in life's adventures, and the echoes of his laughter resonating in the hearts of his family and friends. Randall J. Green's memory will forever be a beacon of the strength, warmth, and love he shared throughout his life.
