Rachel S. (Schaefer) Brown

Rachel S. "Schaefer" Brown, aged 99, passed away on May 21, 2025, in Raymore, MO. She was born in Indiana on April 20, 1926, to her loving parents, Louis and Esther "Grabbe" Schaefer. Rachel's life was characterized by her warm smile and friendly demeanor that endeared her to all.

A proud graduate of her local high school, she spent her professional years serving customers with kindness at Woolworths. Rachel was renowned for being the heart of her family, always showering them with love. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Robert Brown, Donald Brown, Sharon Davis, and Carol Gardner, her three grandchildren, and her one precious great-grandchild.

Rachel rejoins her beloved husband, Fred B. Brown, and her parents in eternity. Her memory will be cherished as her spirit continues to inspire warmth and friendliness in the hearts of those who knew her. Rachel's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the enduring strength of familial bonds.

There will be a Graveside service on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 9:00 am at Bethel Church Cemetery, 13673 E. St. Rd 58, Freelandville, IN.
