Penny Lynn Vories

Penny Lynn Vories , a cherished companion, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023, in Vincennes, Indiana at the age of 69. Born on January 28, 1954, Penny's life was marked by unending love, joy, and a spirit of generosity that touched everyone who knew her. 
 Penny was a beloved soulmate to Bernie L. Sievers, with whom she shared many wonderful years, they were lucky to have found each other. 
 Those left to mourn the loss of Penny are; her true love, Bernie L. Sievers, children; Sheila Marshall, Micki Lile, Tracy Prechtel, and Amanda Warmuth, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, Penny's joy was magnified with each new addition to the family. She had a special bond with each of her grandchildren, and their memories of her will be treasured forever. Her legacy will continue through the love and values she instilled in them. 
 Penny had a zest for life that was infectious. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, playing games, and cooking. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and the aroma of her delicious meals. 
Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel. Mass will be at 1:00 PM at St. John the Baptist’s Catholic Church, 803 Main Street, Vincennes, Indiana. Burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery.
