Peggy Lee (Ballard) Blackburn

Peggy Lee (Ballard) Blackburn, 67, of Vincennes, Indiana went to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, surrounded by family.
She was born in Mendota, Illinois on July 27th, 1955 to the late Lyman W. and Barbara Lee (Lucas) Ballard. Peggy married the love of her life, Frank Blackburn in 2004.
 
Peggy worked many years at Kramac Printing as a typesetter, then she opened her own business, The Print Shop.  Later, Peggy worked at Bill Bobe's Pizzeria.  She also helped with her daughter's daycare, Little Moccasins Childcare. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers but more than anything else, Peggy loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She never missed a grandchild's ball game and was their biggest supporter.  In her younger years she also taught Sunday school at her church.
 
Those left to mourn the loss of Peggy are; her daughter, Laura Lee Bobe and significant other Rick Fletcher; grandchildren,  Mackenzie Pepmeier (Kelby), Hunter Gus Bobe, Blake Bobe, Delaney Bobe and her significant other Macy McNeece, Presley Bobe and Jackson Bobe; great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kynlee Pepmeier; sisters, Karen Sue Weber, of Round Lake Beach, Illinois, and Debbie (Doug) Gary, of Chicago, Illinois; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
 
She is preceded in death by; her parents, Lyman  and Barbara (Lucas) Ballard; husband, Frank Blackburn; and sister, Nancy Bathe.
 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13th, 2022 from 4p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel  in Vincennes, Indiana. A funeral service will be held 1 P.M.   Friday  October 14, 2022 with Chaplain Scott Rasico officiating also at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to https://www.tbc1d24foundation.com or American Alzheimer’s Association
