Obituary
Melvin Darrell Hedrick, 81, of Washington passed away on October 22, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Melvin was born on March 23, 1941 to the late Cecil and Mildred “Clark” Hedrick.
He loved his grandchildren very much, enjoyed; trucking, good ole’ country music, the outdoors, and never met a stranger.
Those left to mourn the loss of Melvin are: his two daughters Judy Hedrick and Sandy Phelps; brother, Robert Perdue; three grandchildren; Craig Hedrick whom he thought of as his son, Tiffany Hedrick “he called her Tutu,” and Jennifer Diaz; 7 great grandchildren; Special Granddaughter Jessica Hedrick who he referred to as his angel that cared for him for the last 10 years, Rodrigo (Astul) who he thought dearly of and as his own son and his wife Rebecca Diaz; cousins, Bobby, Danny, Angel, Mary, Treasea, Roman and many more.
Melvin is preceded in death by his parents and son, Melvin Hedrick Jr.
