Obituary

Mary Lou Reitmeyer, 85 of Oaktown, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Mary Lou was born on June 7, 1937 in Knox County to the late Emma Vette Reitmeyer and Albert Reitmeyer.

Mary Lou was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and the American Women’s Association. She retired from GSH as a kitchen supervisor and graduated from Decker High School in 1956.

Those left to mourn Mary Lou are; a loving son, Brian Reitmeyer of Oaktown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by; parents; four siblings, Charles, Ralph, and Maurice Reitmeyer and Helen Yochum.

There will be a service on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Oaktown Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Oaktown Cemetery. The family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with Ms. Reitmeyer’s arrangements.
