Marlin “Buzz” Ray Horrall, 87, of Vincennes passed away on April 26, 2024. He lived most of his life in Vincennes.
He was born on November 23, 1936, in Decker, Indiana to Thomas Beryl Horrall and Lucille Tennis Horrall, who preceded him in death, along with his brothers, Byron Horrall, Roland Horrall and Nolan Horrall and his sister, Patricia Horrall Welsh.
Buzz sold insurance for a number of years and loved to provide medicinal or pharmaceutical advice to anyone who would listen. An avid golfer, Marlin found joy in the simple pleasures of life and was a longstanding member of St. Francis Xavier Church. He has loved following Adam Schenk’s golf career (said he taught him all he knows). His large personality and amiable nature will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his very special friend, Sharon Goodwin, his children: Janet Self (Ricky) of Cabot, Arkansas, Gaye Lynn Updike (Sam) of Portland Oregon, Joseph Horrall of Vincennes and Jennifer Teising of Vincennes; his twin sister Marilyn Bilskie; and sister Beverly Marchino, eight grandchildren: Bryant Self (Lauren), Jeremy Self (Jordan), Josh Updike, Spencer Updike, Coy Updike, Samantha Updike Perry, Reeves Updike, Margaret Teising and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and treasured friends.
There will be funeral mass on Monday, May 13, 2024 10:30 A.M. at St John’s Catholic Church with Father Tony Ernst officiating. Fond memories and condolences may be shared at www.fredrickandson.com
