Mark Stephen Scott

Mark Stephen Scott, passed away on September 7, 2023, in Vincennes, Indiana. Born on September 18, 1956, in FT Leonard Wood, Missouri, Mark was the son of the late Mack and Jacquelyn (Wallem) Scott. He was predeceased by his brother John Scott and sister-in-law Vickie Scott. Despite these losses, Mark's spirit remained unbroken, and he continued to inspire those around him with his resilience and positivity. He is survived by his brothers; Thomas Scott of New Llano Louisiana, Bill (Kyre) Cleveland of Vincennes, Indiana, his sisters Ann Scott Vorack of Chicago, Illinois, and Kathy Scott Perry of Eden Prairie

Mark  was a Veteran of the United States Army and later an assistant manager for McDonald’s, he was known for his love of sports and literature and was an avid basketball, football, and baseball enthusiast. 

A vigil service will be performed at 4:30 PM on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 5-7 also at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel. A graveside will follow on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.  Memorial contributions maybe made in Mark’s memory to the Lincoln High School Athletics. The family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com.
