Margaret Ann (Capps) Cavener

Margaret Ann Cavener, 84, passed peacefully to her final rest on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Margaret was born on February 24, 1939, in Panama City, Florida to the late Emma (King) Capps and Tesco Capps. She married Cyrus E. Cavener on December 31, 1964, also in Panama City, Florida.

Margaret worked as a secretary and loved playing games, gardening, cooking, baking, and going to the beach. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Those left to mourn the loss of Margaret are; her children, Anne Goff (Ronald) of Springfield, IL, and Fran Cates of Vincennes; grandchildren, Jason Cates (Megan Kays), K. Renee Walsh (Bradley), and Amanda Halter (D.J.); great-grandchildren, Susanna Cates,  Daxton Halter, and Lincoln Halter; and siblings, Evelyn Duncan and Bobbie Tunnicliff.

She was preceded in death by; her husband, Cyrus Cavener; parents, Emma and Tesco Capps; and two sisters, Frances Woodhouse and Sandra Capps.
