He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Tonia Hooper, and brothers, Skip and Lawrence Young.
Louis completed his high school education and embarked on a lifelong career as a truck driver who was also known for lending a helping hand on various farms throughout Indiana. A man with an appreciation for the outdoors, Louis’s love for fishing, hunting, and woodworking was evident to everyone who knew him. His joy in having fish fries, sitting on his front porch, and visiting with neighbors became widely known in his community. Always found with a smile and a story to tell, Louis will be remembered for his warmth and friendliness. His best friend and loyal companion, his dog Bonnie, was never far from his side.
