Laura (Butch) Marie (Feagans) Daugherty

Laura (Butch) Marie Daugherty, 83, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away on June 7, 2023.
She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on August 26, 1939 to Frank and Daisy “Sharr” Feagans.
On February 3, 1957, Laura married the love of her life Virgil Daugherty, in Shawneetown, Illinois.
Laura was a member of Central Church of Christ. She worked in patient accounts for Good Samaritan Hospital, and was later a secretary for K.C.A.R.C. In addition to those jobs, she also owned 3 craft shops, Needles and Pins. In her spare time she enjoyed; sewing, knitting, various kinds of crafting, traveling, spending time with family, and church activities.
Those left to mourn the loss of Laura include; children, Virgil Daugherty III (Linda) of Vincennes, Indiana, Doug Daugherty and girl friend Sadie of Monroe City, Indiana, Gregg Daugherty of Vincennes, Indiana, Pamela Hazel (Ted) of Vincennes, Indiana; sister, Mary Risley of Vincennes, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by; her parents; husband, Virgil Daugherty II; and a sister, Francis Ann Kotter.
There will be visitation for Laura on Monday June 12, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with a service immediately following at 1:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Fredrick and Son McClure- Utt Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Laura (Butch) Marie Daugherty.
