Julia “Julie” Morgan Obituary

Julia “Julie” Lynn Walker Morgan, aged 46, passed away surrounded by love on March 23, 2024, in Oaktown, Indiana. Born on September 21, 1977, in Vincennes, Indiana, she was the beacon of joy to Judy Kay Meeks Walker and Jerry "Jed" Lane Walker. Julie’s life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and service, woven with the threads of family, faith, and community.

A loving wife and partner, Julie shared an unwavering bond with her husband, Chad Morgan, since their marriage on September 14, 1996, in Oaktown. Together, they nurtured their daughter, Aspen Linne, alongside son-in-law Seth, in a home filled with laughter and warmth. Her siblings, Johnny Walker (Rob Veras) and Jennifer Bunn, will remember Julie for her endless compassion and unbreakable spirit, just as her nieces, nephews, father-in-law Bill Morgan, sister-in-laws Kris Doersam and Angela Heacock (John) will cherish the moments of joy she brought into their lives. Julie was preceded in death by mother-in law Sherry Morgan and brother-in-law Eric Doersam.

Julie’s educational journey culminated as a proud 1996 graduate of Sullivan High School, thereafter, she poured her heart into the founding and operation of Juju’s Jumpin Monkey Daycare. Her entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering dedication to child welfare touched many lives within her community.

Beyond her professional achievements, Julie was an active member of the Emmaus Community, sharing her passion for camping, animals, and immersive family experiences. Her faith was integral to her life, and as a committed member of The First Church of God, she found strength and solace.
