Judith Ann Perkins, 79, passed peacefully into eternal rest on May 4, 2024, with her daughter by her side. Judith was born JudithAnn Murphy on October 1, 1944, to the late Sara Bluebaum and Elwood Murphy.
As the beloved spouse of Wendell Perkins, they made a life together for 62 years. She enjoyed her daily routines as a dedicated homemaker.
Judith is survived by; her husband, Wendell
Perkins; her son, Chris Perkins (Anita) of Vincennes; daughter,Cathy Rice (John) of Indianapolis; six grandchildren,Nicole Boyd (Marv),Levi Perkins (Christina), Christie Ruppel(Trevor),Aaron Davis, Stephen Davis, and Ashley Davis.
Judith's life was marked by being a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where her faith began at an early age. She found immense pleasure in simple joys cooking, baking, planting flowers, staying active and decorating her house. Each activity she undertook was marked by her faith and relationship with God.Her departure has left a void where once resided a spirited and tender heart.Judith was preceded in death by her six brothers; Gene, Kip, Ronnie, Albert, Jack, and Elwood Murphy Jr, and three sisters;Carolyn Anderson, Donna Sutton, and Aline Hendrixson.
