John Wayne Lindsey, aged 51, of Bicknell, Indiana, passed away peacefully in Jasper , Indiana on April 18, 2024. Born on July 16, 1972, John was a devoted son, loving father, cherished grandfather, and loyal brother who left an indelible mark on the lives of those he knew and loved.

John grew up in the comforting embrace of his hometown, under the watchful eyes of his parents, Darrell and Lucinda "Cookie" Privett Faith and Dexter Lindsey. His childhood was filled with affection and the joys of family life alongside his siblings Ann, Lorraine, and Vicki Lindsey, and brother Billie Trowbridge ll. The Lindsey household was one defined by warmth, laughter, and the unmistakable spirit of kinship, traits that John carried with him throughout his life.

As an adult, John's greatest pride could be found in the faces of his own children, John II, Kaiden, Cierra (Austin Ray), and Holly. He instilled in them the values of love, perseverance, and the importance of family. His legacy continues to thrive in the smiles and lives of his grandchildren, Mia, Jade, Cabella, Haelynn, and Kinsley.

Remembered for his passion for stamp collecting and an unwavering love for the band Kiss, John embraced life with enthusiasm and a vivacious spirit. His favorite aunt, Ilena Vendes, and favorite cousin Christina Reynolds, along with many other cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, will fondly recall his zest for life and generous heart. John now reunites with his brother Tim and grandparents, Dexter and Lena Lindsey, and John Privett and Iva Harrington, and step-father Bill Trowbridge who preceded him in death.
