Jo Ann A (Brown) Thompson

  Jo Ann Thompson, 92, of Vincennes went to her heavenly home on Friday, June 25, 2021, while at her home and surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Jo was born on May 18, 1929 in Vincennes, IN to the late Earl A. Brown and Gertrude A. Brown.
Jo was an Army wife, and enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Robert H. Thompson. Jo was employed at several different jobs one of which, being Brown Shoe Factory, and then Hazleton Industries where she eventually retired from. She loved; socializing, dancing, cooking, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family. Jo was also a member of the Moose Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary, and a 1947 graduate of Lincoln High School.
Jo is survived by; her adoring daughter, Angie Thompson; loving grandson, Josh Thompson and his wife Olivia Thompson; and her precious great-grandchildren, Gage and Marlee Thompson.
Jo was preceded in death by; her parents; husband, Robert H. Thompson which whom she spent 49 blessed years with; companion, Eddie Joe Spore; and 2 brothers, William Brown and Jack Brown.
Services will be held on July 1, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
