Janice Darlene (Price) Bruce

Janice Darlene “Price” Bruce went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 25, 2023.
Janice was born on September 29, 1938, to the late Lemuel A Price and Corlena M “Houghland” Simpson. Janice married Noble A Bruce on January 27, 1973, in Evansville, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Vann Ave Baptist Church.
Those left to mourn the loss are; Children, Lonnie Zeabart of Evansville, IN, Janet Bond Dunkel (Eldon) of Evansville, IN, Denise Georgette Murphy (Matt) of Evansville, IN, Joesph “Scott” Helt (Robin) of Florida , and Rickie Bruce of Kentucky. Lots of grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Noble A. Bruce who passed in November of 2013, Children; Jeanna Helt and Scotty Joe Helt, her parents; siblings, Lou Ann Scott (Floyd), Dolly Williams (Bob), Lee Culley (Don), Bill Price (Zella Mae) and  a nephew Rick Rooksberry.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12 pm E.S.T.  at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Oaktown Chapel, with a service immediately following also at the funeral home. Afterwards, Janice will be laid to rest in Oaktown Cemetery where a graveside committal service will be held.
