Janet Cecilia (Carie) Schulze

Janet C. Carie Schulze 87, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at her residence, while surrounded by her family.
Janet was born on January 23, 1932 in Vincennes, IN to the late Herbert and Theresa (Cardinal) Carie. She graduated from St. Rose Academy then married Robert Schulze on July 7, 1950.They spent 51 years together until his death on January 5, 2001. They were devoted Catholics and active members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Janet enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work, spending quality time with her family, and attending social gatherings.
Janet is survived by; her four children, Mark Schulze of Foley, AL. Jane Trimble and husband Billy of Bethlehem, GA. Mary Ray and husband Steve of Vincennes, and Joe Schulze of Vincennes; grandchildren, Lori Fiala Michelle Reeves, Kerry Kroeger, Matt Schulze, Stephanie Plummer, Adam Ray, and Chris Ray; sixteen great-grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren and a special beloved sister, Emma Cox and husband Azzie
She is preceded in death by; her parents; brothers, William Carie, Dexter Carie, Kenneth Carie, and two infant brothers whom passed at birth.
Family will receive visitors at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiated by Father Tony Ernst. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery.
