James (Diamond Jim) Alan Teising

James Alan “Diamond Jim” Teising 82, of Vincennes, went to his heavenly home on Monday, May 9, 2022.

Jim was born on January 23, 1940 in Vincennes, IN to the late  Wilma Willis Teising and Charles Teising jr. 

Jim was a Firefighter for the City of Vincennes and also an active  volunteer with the Vincennes Township Fire Department, Jim was also employed at Ralph Rogers Inc. Jim was a devoted family man who enjoyed fishing, and spending winters in FL. Jim  was also a past member of local 664. He was a member of IVFA, Harmony Society, Elks 291, and the FOP.

Survivors include; a loving son, Mark Teising (Tammy); siblings, Dick (Birdman) (Vera) Teising, and Billie Jean Primus; grandchildren, Brittany Montgomery, Kyndall Myers, Piper Rose Lewis, Madison Montgomery, Drew and Rebecca Wonning, Colton, Kali, Jordan, and Laura Wonning, and Peyton, Avery, Maverick, Boone, and Sydney Bell Wonning.

He was preceded in death by; wife, Beverly “Beaman” Teising; his parents; and an infant daughter, Jamie Teising, and a sister Judith Ann Teising; and a grandson, Mitchell Montgomery.

There will be a Funeral service at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Vincennes Chapel on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Chaplain Larry Howerton officiating, a visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with a Fireman’s Memorial Graveside Honors with Fire Department Chaplain Larry Howerton officiating.  The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Vincennes Township Fireman’s Fund 1265 S.
