James Roy Chesterfield Sr. 73 of Bristow, IN went to his heavenly home on Friday, July 24, 2020.

He was born in Sullivan, IN on June 12, 1947 to the late Bert George Chesterfield and Eva Mae (Hickman) Chesterfield.

James was an ordained minister and enjoyed the ministry; he attended Hosanna Ministries. He was also employed as a truck driver and loved spending time with his family and church family.

James is survived by; children, Georgena Bobe (James R. Blake Jr.) of Bristow, and James Chesterfield (Heather) also of Bristow; a sister, Lorenda Fomey(Paul) of TN; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

James was also preceded in death by; his loving wife, Georgena (Purcell) Chesterfield; 2 sisters, Bianca Chesterfield, and Bonnie Evans; 5 brothers, Jerry, Mike, John, Danny, and Bert George Chesterfield II.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Asbury Cemetery.
