Jaimie Tate-Shade Obituary

Jaimie Lea Klusmeier Tate-Shade, aged 53, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away peacefully on the 29th of June, 2025. She was born on November 19, 1971, in Oakland City, Indiana, the daughter of Ginger Rainbolt Klusmeier and the late George Klusmeier. She spent her childhood growing up in Johnson, Indiana.

Jaimie is survived by her husband, James Shade, mother, Ginger Klusmeier of Johnson, Indiana, children, Denay Stephens (Aaron) of Johnsonville, IL, Forrest Tate (Alicia) of Evansville, MiKayla Tate (Jesse Virgilio) of Vincennes, and Drayven Tate of Vincennes, siblings Dawn Schmitt (Donnie) of Owensville, Angie Busing (Mike) of Evansville, Chad Klusmeier (Krista) of Owensville, Steve Klusmeier (Jennifer) of Owensville, 10 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and mother-in-law, Rosalind Shade of Vincennes.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Klusmeier, and her brother, Junior Klusmeier.

Jaimie was a graduate of Gibson Southern High School. She attended Harrison College and graduated with an Associates Degree. She worked as a Certified Medical Assistant for several years.

Jaimie married her best friend and love of her life, James Shade, on June 15, 2025. They had spent 8 loving years together and had looked forward to many more years. Jaimie was a devoted mother to her children and mamaw to her grandchildren and adored them all.

Jaimie enjoyed collecting Scooby-Doo items and giraffes, decorating her home and yard, taking care of her plants, and caring for her fur babies, Willy, Fluffy, and Milo. However, what filled Jamie's heart the most was the time spent surrounded by her beloved family and 'grandbabies,' creating memories that would become their cherished inheritance.

Jaimie Lea Klusmeier Tate-Shade lived a life of kindness, and a boundless love for all. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends, but they take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love and laughter will continue to guide them.
