Henry Peacock, 66, passed away June 21, 2021, while at the Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis. He was born to the late George M. Peacock, and Murrel (Warren) Peacock on February 16, 1955, in Vincennes.
Henry was employed at the KCARC and had the distinction of being one of its first employees in 1972.
Henry was a man of many friends and many interests. He loved bingo,IU Basketball, riding in the semi with his friend, Max Crouse, and vacationing with friends -- especially in Florida. For many years, he enjoyed going to the Indicoso Church Camp in Springville, and was proud to be a junior counselor there along with his good friend, Brian Patton. He was a member of Bruceville Rod and Gun Club, and belonged to the Fans of Special Athletes. He was a member of the Bruceville Methodist Church.
Those who loved Henry and now cherish his memory include his sister Deb Weber of Bruceville; niece Staci (Bobby) Clark of Vincennes; nephew Mike (Traci) Weber of Vincennes; and sister-in-law Alice Peacock of Lees Summit, MO. Additionally, he leaves behind : nephew James D. (Shawna) Peacock, niece Tammy Peacock, and great nephews Blade and Korde Weber, Luke Clark; and Will Peacock, and a great niece Natalie Peacock. Henry had many cousins, and one special cousin he celebrated birthdays with, Sherry (Richard) Rawdon.
Henry had an extensive "hand picked" family that he loved: Charla and Brian Patton, Angie (Terry) Goff, and Brenda Ramsey.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother James Peacock.
Visitation for Henry Peacock will be Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 11:00 am-3:00 pm at the Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bruceville Chapel, 618 West Main Street, Bruceville IN. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. Pastor John Staidham will officiate.
