Harley Seirp Obituary

Harley Gene Seirp, 80 of Vincennes went into eternal rest on Monday, September 13, 2021.

 

 Harley was born in Bicknell on September 18, 1940 to the late Bill Serip and Esther McGiffen. He grew up at Monroe City, Indiana, graduating in 1958, and later moved to Freelandville in 1967. Harley’s occupations were Director of Transportation for Agrico Chemical Company Southern Indiana, manger of Freelandville Farm Services ( IH dealer) , and salesman for T.A. Brouliette and Sons. His passion was riding motorcycles. He was a lifetime member of the Goldwing Associiation, member of the Kentucky Colonel Association of Kentucky, and  American Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed many hours of stock car racing, and customizing his vehicles. 

 

 Harley is survived by his children Kathy Telligman (John) of Oaktown, and Ken Seirp, one brother, Wally McGiffen ( Diane),  three nephews , Ian  ( Katie ) , Ryan ( Ashley ), Justin  McGiffen , and five great nieces and nephews .

 

 Harley was preceded in death by his parents and step-parents. 

There will be a private service held at a later date; you may leave online condolences for the family at  www.fredrickandson.com.  Memorial contributions may be made for Knox County CASA, or First Baptist Church of Vincennes.
