Gerald Lee Snyder, 80, Bicknell, died at 1:05 A.M. Monday, February 18, 2019, in Bicknell. He was born in Bicknell to Paul H. and Louise A. (Volle) Snyder. Gerald married Betty L. (Wampler) Snyder who passed Jan 18, 2005. Gerald graduated from Sandborn high school class of 1956. He was self employed as a farmer and worked for Scepter. Gerald was a member of the Bethel Church.
Survivors include daughters, Sharon Cooper (Robert) of Bicknell, Barbara Snyder of Brownsburg; sons, Roger Snyder Sr. of Edwardsport, Michael Snyder (Connie) of Bicknell and Douglas Snyder of Bicknell; Seven Grandchildren, Angela Cooper, Kurt Cooper, Roger Snyder Jr, Steven Snyder, Ashley Snyder, Brittney Snyder, Cassie Snyder; Six Great Grandchildren; sister, Ruby Thome (Walter) Holland MI.; sister-in-law, Sandra (Wampler) Hildebrand of Hamilton OH.
He was preceded by his parents, spouse; brother Don Snyder; two sisters, Mary Croney and Doris Marshall.
Visitation will be Wednesday Feb 20, 2019 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Bethel Church in Freelandville.
Service will be 11 A.M. Thursday Feb 21, 2019 also at the Bethel Church with Mike Decoursey officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery following the service.
Contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, Vincennes, IN or the Bethel Church, Freelandville, IN.
