Gary Wayne Jones

Gary Wayne Jones, 76 of Evansville passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Gary was born on January 21, 1946 in Edwardsport, IN son to the late George Jones and Pauline (Morris)Jones.

Gary graduated from North Knox High School in 1964; retired as a  coal miner from Amax Ayrshire Mine ; he was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Those mourning the loss of Gary are; children, Laurie Jones of Evansville, Christopher Jones of Evansville, Melissa Jones of Haubstadt, and Christina Gross (Brad) also of Haubstadt; a grandson, Kyle Tretter of Dallas, TX; and his trusty side-kick, Geronimo (his beloved dog); and a sister, Betty Green of Indianapolis along with nieces and nephews. 

Gary was preceded in death by; a sister, Carolyn Jones; and a brother, Robert Jones. 

There will be a graveside service held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11:00am EST at the Edwardsport I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
