Frieda V Buck

Frieda Virginia (Casey) Buck passed from this world at Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice unit on September 30, 2020 becoming another grim statistic of the current coronavirus pandemic. She was born May 9, 1937, the tenth and last child of Efford and Pearl (Faught) Casey of Bicknell. 

On October 26, 1956, she married her high school sweetie, Russell “Holly” Buck who left her widow nearly two years ago after 61 years of marriage. She is survived by two children, Virginia “Ginny” Shine (Don) of Bloomington, and Robert “Bob” Buck of Worthington, two grandsons, Daniel Lankford (Lisa) of Indianapolis and Seth Lankford (Saskia) of Weseke, Germany along with three much loved great –grandbabies, Deacon, Liam and Dalia. 

Services will be Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home in Bicknell with visitation from 11am-1pm, with funeral and grave side services to follow. The funeral will be live streamed from the funeral homes Facebook page for those who may not wish to attend due to the coronavirus.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at The First Baptist Church, 310 5th St, Edwardsport, IN 47528.
