Frances B (Willis) Harrington

Frances B. Harrington 94 of Bicknell went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Frances was born on March 23, 1928 in Carlisle, IN to the late Clarence T. Willis and Mabel Black Willis. 

Frances was member of; the Westside Assembly of God Church, N.A.L.C. #39, Eastern Star, Rebecca’s Lodge #595, Ladies Club of Nalcrest, FL. She retired as a letter carrier from the United States Postal Service. Frances enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, friends, and her church family. 

Those left to mourn her loss are; children, Mary K. Bush (Danny), Alfred Wayne Evans Jr. (Ruby), Jacquelyn C. Pennington (Gary Sr.), and Krista Marlana Cripe (Gary);twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-seven, great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-laws, Alice Smith, and Susan Harrington;

She was preceded in death by; husbands, Alfred W. Evans Sr. who passed away in 1980, Raymond Harrington who passed away in 2011; children,Thurman Harrington, Clarence Wayne Smith, Susan Evans, Judy Lewis, Janet Shepherd, and Mabel Evans; four granddaughters, Sherri Lewis, Valerie Koopman, Heather Pennington, and Carrie Ann Evans Devore. 

Visitation will be Friday May 6, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel with a service immediately following also at the funeral home. Afterwards, Frances will be laid to rest in Bicknell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Salvation Army.
