Ellis Earl Ridgway

Ellis “Earl” Ridgway, 83, of Mooresville, passed away December 23, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis In. Ellis was born June 26, 1937, in Bicknell Indiana, the Son of Ira and Cecil (Tade) Ridgway. He married Sondra Ira-Thornburgh on November 10th, 1959 in Bicknell Indiana. Ellis was a history buff, enjoyed bowling and had a love for airplanes, he worked for Trans World Airlines for over 40 years and was a foster Parent for over 20 years having fostered over 20 children. Ellis was a member of the Bicknell United Methodist Church.
Ellis is survived by three sons, Brad Ridgway (Kathi) of Indianapolis, IN, Gary Ridgway of Evansville, IN, and Robert Ridgway (Kristine) of Plainfield, IN; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Larry Ridgway (Darlene) of Loogootee, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Cecil "Tade" Ridgway, his spouse Sondra Ridgway, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. The Funeral For Ellis will be on Noon Thursday Dec 31, 2020 the family will receive Friends from 11 A.M. Until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest at the Royal Oak Cemetery.
