Edna (Ted) Burton

Edna “Ted” Burton, 98 of Bicknell, passed away on January 6, 2021 at her home.  She was born on April 14, 1922 in Floyd County, Kentucky the daughter of Ernest and Minnie (Eden) Burton.  Edna worked as a Matron at North Knox High School for many years.  She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed quilting. 
She is survived by her sisters, Josephine Woolever, Ruby Bourlard, Floretta and husband Wayne Barnes and Linda and her husband Steve Jones; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Virginia Ruth Ridgway, Billie Strosnider, June Ward; nephew, Greg Bourlard; and great nephew, Shaun Bourlard.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday January 13, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel, 109 E 6th St. Bicknell, Indiana 47512, with Pastor Mike DeCoursey presiding.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
