Edith Sue Rinsch, 79, of Freelandville, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the FreelandvilleCommunity Home.
Edith was born February 20, 1941 in Freelandville, daughter of the late Edwin and Louise (Held) Rinsch.
Edith was a bookkeeper at the Tresslar Company, Pepsi-Cola, and retired from the Medical Center of Vincennes. Edith was devoted to playing the piano for Bethel Sunday School for over 60 years; Edith and her twin sister, Edna, played organ and piano duets for weddings and special occasions as well. She was a member of Bethel Church and was a member of the Business Professional Women’s Club.
Edith is survived by; a cousin, Janet Everett (Don) of Camby, IN; their daughters, Julie Padgett (Phil) and their family of Franklin,IN. Nancy Traylor (Linnie) and their family of Indianapolis; Goddaughter, Kaylee Ravellette (Kyle) and their daughters Karly and Karoline of Westphalia; close friends, Byron and Donna Harting, and their son, Seth Harting (Andrea), and their children, Amelia and Oliver, all of Edwardsport.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; twin sister, Edna Lou Rinsch; and, Aunt Ethel Held.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Bethel Church of Freelandville, 13673 E. State Rd. 58 Edwardsport, IN 47528. A service will immediately follow officiated by Pastor Mike DeCoursey at 3:00 P.M. burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. The family request everyone that attends please wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines.
