Donna Frances Ashby

Donna Frances Ashby, 74, of Bicknell, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at her residence.

Donna was born on Feb. 28, 1946, in Edwardsport. She was the daughter of John Ashby and Cora (Harrington) Cazzell.

She was a graduate of North Knox High School. After high school, Donna moved to Chicago where she began a career in the hotel industry. Donna then transferred to Hawaii where she lived for 14 years. Donna loved her time there.

Donna is survived by her sisters, Pam Heady of Gosport, Nikki Livingston of Bloomington, and Toni Nickless and her husband, Mike, of Ellettsville. Donna was also survived by sister-in-law, Joy Ashby of Bicknell; nephews, Jonathan Ashby and his wife, Regina, of Kokomo, and Mark Ashby and his wife, Heather, of Wadesville; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kristi Sanders and her husband, Tyler, Kaitlyn Ashby, Michael Ashby, Mason Ashby, Ethan Ashby, Levi Facemyer and Samantha Propes.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Prentiss Harvey Ashby and Russell Ray Ashby; nephew, Marty Ashby; and a great-nephew, Daniel Ashby.
