David Roby Obituary

David Kent Roby, 64 of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully at Terre Haute Union Memorial Hospital on May 5, 2021.
David was born in Olney, IL to the late James T. and Maureen Roby.
David grew up in Olney, IL and was a 1974 graduate of Olney High School and furthered his education with a degree from Vincennes University in Laser Technology. After college, David served his country proudly for 5 years in the United States National Guard; after his tenure in the military, David was employed by the G.E. plant in Terre Haute from which he retired in 2019.
David is survived by; his siblings, Steven Roby (Kathy), James T. Roby II (Paula Plummer), and Michele E. Brough (Darrell); nephews, Jeremy, and Nathaniel Roby; great- nieces and nephews, Mirabel, Thomas, Nea, and Azvia Roby.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date at Morris Chapel Cemetery. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements of Mr. Roby. You may leave the family online memorial condolences at www.fredrickandson.com
