Clark K Hawkins

Clark K. Hawkins, of Vincennes, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023, just a few days shy of his 71st birthday. Born on April 7, 1952, in Vincennes, Indiana, Clark was the son of the late Laura Adeline Hawkins and Samuel Hawkins. He is survived by sisters Patrica Edward's and Ann Farrar  both of Vincennes a brother Russel and several nieces and nephews, as well as his  caregiver, Melissa Hill.

After retiring from K-mart as a greeter, Clark filled his days with hobbies that brought happiness not only to himself but also to those around him. He was an avid fisherman, spending many hours on the banks, casting his line and enjoying the serenity of nature. On weekends, he could often be found playing cards with friends and family, sharing stories, and creating cherished memories.

Clark's love for playing the lottery was well-known, and he always believed that the next big win was just around the corner. While he never hit the jackpot, his optimism and excitement were contagious, and he never failed to brighten the days of those who crossed his path.

Clark enjoyed singing and attending church at The First Baptist Church and The Thursday Church.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Samuel Hawkins; a brother, Samuel Edward Bennett and Kenneth collins and his birth mother and father Marie Tempest and Keith Bennett.

There will be a graveside service for Clark held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 12:00.
