Clara Bersig Obituary

Clara B. Bersig 91 of Washington, went to her heavenly home on Monday, March 28, 2022.

Clara was born in Golconda, IL on July 27, 1930 to the late Simon Peter Wagner and Joyce Aline (Towns) Wagner-Roberts.

Clara attended First Baptist Church and enjoyed fellowship with her family and church family. She liked crocheting, watching her soap operas, and game shows; most of all Clara was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and cherished her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by; two loving daughters, Rosie Peterson (Bryan), Joy Woodall (David), grandchildren, Jessica Stoll, and Jarret Woodall.

She was preceded in death by; husbands, Robert Clifford Wright “Red”, and Ronald Glenn Bersig “RG”.

Clara will be laid to rest in Sugarland Memory Gardens. Arrangements are private and floral deliveries may be made to Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
