Obituary
Carolyn Suzanne Gafner 79, of Vincennes went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Carolyn was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 20, 1943 to the late Suzanne (Dixon) Yoe and Franklin Warren. Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always looked forward to cherished family activities. She was very active through the years, holding positions as a laboratory technician, dental hygienist assistant, and worked for the school district while raising her children. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Those left to mourn the loss of Carolyn are; her loving children, Patricia Snook (Carl), Denise Gerber (Jim), Chris Gafner (Linzie), Theresa Brown (Joe), and Amy Mann; siblings, Mary Jane McMenamy, and Pam Hoffman; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her parents; husband, John Robert Gafner; and two grandsons, Kyle and Hunter; brother (Howard) Randy; and a sister, Maria.
There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Crystal Cemetery in Crystal, Michigan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel. The family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com
