Carla Jo (Gouverneur) James

Mrs. Carla Jo James, 68 of Vincennes, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
Carla was born October 3, 1952 in Vincennes to the late Carl H. Gouverneur and Patsy Robbins Gouverneur 
Carla was a 1970 graduate of St. Rose and recently retired from Good Samaritan Hospital where she was a billing clerk. Carla was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Harmony Society, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Carla enjoyed spending time with her family and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
Carla is survived by; her loving husband, Jon James of Vincennes; adoring children, Mike White of Vincennes, Mitch White (Brittany) of Noblesville, Matthew White (Anna-Marie) of Evansville, Brandon James of Linton, and Ryan James of Evansville; grandchildren, Mason James, Chloe James, Oliva James, Grady James, Norah White, Brooks White, Arden White, Rowan White, and Silas James; siblings, Ernie Gouverneur (Deborah) of Vincennes, Curt Gouverneur (Regina) of Beaverton, Oregon; 1 niece  and 6 nephews. 
She was preceded in death by; her parents; and a sister, Ann Gouverneur 
There will be a private graveside service held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery; however, the family invites you to leave online condolences at www.fredrickandson.com.
