Carl William Mengedoht

Carl William Mengedoht 83, of Bruceville, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

Carl was born in Knox County on October 31, 1937 to the late Robert Mengedoht  and Jesse R. Mowery Mengedoht. 

Carl was employed by Chrysler Local 1268; he enjoyed fishing, farming, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Beal Pentecostal Church and retired member of UAW out of Belvedere, IL.

Carl is survived by; his loving wife, Nina Andrews Mengedoht; sons Carl Mengedoht and Jeff Mengedoht a daughter Virginia, Whitmire; step-children, Jack Yenna, Richard Reed, Donna Rusher, Joann Padgett, and Larry Reed; siblings,  Pauline Bush and Ralph Mengedoht (Linda); 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by; first wife, Roma (Pat) Menegedoht; sons, Sidney Mengedoht, Parents Robert and Jesse Mengedoht; a brother, Kenneth Mengedoht; and a sister, Shirley Vasses.

There will be a graveside service held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Bicknell Memorial Gardens, with visitation from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Bicknell Chapel.
