Bruce Donnar Obituary

Bruce Donnar, 76, of Bruceville passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 with his wife and children at his side. Bruce was born in Emison, IN on February 16, 1945 to the late Merle Donnar and Garnett (Scull) Donnar.

Bruce married his wife, Margo, on July 3, 1964. He enjoyed farming and gardening, and was the proud owner of “The Big Peach” for over 40 years. He was a retired melon and grain farmer with his brother and father. He was a former board member for the Oak Village nursing home and was a former member the Busseron township advisory board. He was also a member of; The Bruceville Rod ,Gun club, and Shaker Prairie Christian Church.

Bruce is survived by; his wife, Margo Donnar (Rogers); children, Daneice (Mike) Turbett, and Kevin (Collette) Donnar; grandchildren, Kathy (Chris) Gregory, Kyle Turbett, Carson Donnar, and Lanie Donnar; and one great-grandchild Nolan Gregory and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, and his brother Darrell Donnar.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. at Shaker Prairie Christian Church, 3217 W. Co Rd. 1075 S. Carlisle, IN 47838.
